Unveiling Elegance: A Closer Look at the Highlights of Miss Universe 2023

With Miss China’s withdrawal, the competition began with 84 competitors, each leaving their mark. In a momentous occasion, Erica Robins, the representative of Pakistan to Miss Universe, was introduced, highlighting diversity and inclusivity on a worldwide scale.

Maria Camila Avella Montañez from Colombia and Michelle Cohn from Guatemala create history by being the first married contestants and mothers to represent their countries in Miss Universe. The second and third transgender women to take part are Rikkie Valerie Kollé from the Netherlands and Marina Machete from Portugal, after Spain was represented in 2018.

The most magnificent crown history,

called “Force of God,” was created by the Mouawad firm and is owned by Miss Universe 2023. It is valued at 5.3 million dollars. 48.12 carats of diamonds, 108.44 carats of sapphires, and 993 other gemstones are set into the tiara.

The Judges

The influential panel this year includes celebrities from a variety of fields: Nadia Ferreira (wife of Marc Anthony and finalist for Miss Universe 2021), Carson Kressley (designer and television star), Giselle Blondet (presenter), Mario Bautista (singer and influencer), Iris Mittenaere (model and presenter), Janelle Commissiong (former Miss Universe 1977 from Trinidad and Tobago), Halima Aden (first hijab-wearing model), Avani Gregg (influencer), Denise White (businessman), and Connie Mariano (first female White House physician).

The following three candidates are in the running for Miss Universe:

  2. Moraya Wilson, Australia
  3. Sheynnis Alondra Palacios Cornejo, Nicaragua


Miss Universe 2023 winner is …

Sheynnis Alondra Palacios Cornejo of Nicaragua has emerged victorious! The first runner-up is Anntonia Porsild from Thailand, and the second runner-up is Moraya Wilson from Australia.

Sheynnis Palacios, a 23-year-old model and TV host, hails from her nation’s capital. She became the 2016 Miss Teen Nicaragua winner and the 2020 Miss World Nicaragua winner, demonstrating her maturity as a competitor. Additionally, Sheynnis placed among the top 40 at Miss World 2021. She was a committed student who participated in public discourse while studying communication at Central American University in Managua.
